Anavini has enlarged its patterns in the last couple of seasons. The
measurement chart above is indicative of Anavini cuts. We note on particular
styles if we notice them running big or small.
Bailey Boys
Tends to run at or above average. Jumpers & overalls/jon jons all
have a 1.5" seam allowance on the shoulders that can be let down for
growth.
Cottontail Originals
Tends to run above average
Wes & Willy
Runs usually one size larger. Buy at age/size or below.
General Observations by Style
Bishop Dress
Most bishops run large because of the pleating on the chest. Also, there's
usually a large hem that can be let down. Buy at the age/size and plan
to wear for two years.
Romper
This style is the hardest to fit because it's so stride "sensitive." Please
e-mail us if you need specific measurements on a brand & size.
Shortalls/Overalls/Jon Jons
Easiest to fit for boys since the shoulder buttons can be moved up (and
in some brands, down).
